About Us
Our Mission & Vision
Our vision and mission is to help connect people to faith in God.
Our Vision
“To reach people for Christ where they are,
with God’s guidance and love, in the heart of the city.”
Our Mission
It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’ve been or what you have done in life.
Jesus Christ is calling you to believe in Him.
Knowing Christ is life changing and life giving.
It is our heartfelt desire to help individuals experience a life changing faith in Christ and be radically transformed by His Word and Spirit.
Christ’s love and grace is for you.
Come and join us just as you are, questions and all.
Together, we will seek to know Him more fully.

Our Beliefs & Values
We believe Jesus Christ is the incarnate Son of God who came to redeem and reconcile humanity to their Creator God, for all have sinned and fall short of the righteousness of God. Jesus lived, died, and rose from the grave breaking the bondage to sin and death so that all who believe in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. The eternal life offered is fellowship and intimacy with God here in this moment in time and for all of eternity. It is only through faith in who Jesus is and His sacrifice on the cross that we can fully know the love of God.
All that is necessary to receive this gift of life is a heartfelt prayer of repentance and acceptance. Life in Christ begins with confession of our sins and submitting our lives to the Lordship of Jesus. This outpouring of God’s love begins and continues with the movement of the Holy Spirit within our individual lives continues with and the hearing and study of the Word of God.
The gift of salvation is offered freely to all persons. The call of God upon our life is irrevocable. Accepting this unconditional love from God is a gift that is unmerited, meaning none of us deserve it. All we can do is respond and receive the outpouring of God’s love each and every day. With the experience of unmerited grace and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, lives are changed. Believers no longer desire to live for “self” or according to the desires and teachings of the world, but desire to honor God by accepting and living according to the teachings of Christ and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
As disciples who seek to honor and know the Lord our God more fully, we gather together to mature in our faith. With confession of our sins to God and one another, we seek to encourage and uplift one another with Christian love and fellowship so that the holiness and righteousness of Christ can become more evident in our lives. We do this through worshipping together, participating in small group studies, praying together, giving of ourselves in service with acts of mercy and grace, and with our personal testimony and witness to the wonderful things God has done.
The totality of the Christian faith is to have faith in Christ Jesus so completely that we are dependent upon Him for all things. With this faith we seek to lay all things down at the foot of the cross for healing and sanctification, yielding our life and desires so that Christ’s will and glory can be evident.
Our personal response to the forgiveness, grace, and gifts we have received from our Lord and God is relevant to our faith development and personal relationship with the Trinity. Our membership vows, therefore, ask that we faithfully participate in the ministries of this congregation with our prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness.

We believe in the authority of scripture.
We believe in the power of prayer.
We believe discipleship leads to acts of service in our community and throughout the world.
We are called to nurture one another.

Serve
Serving God by serving others comes out of the overflow of one’s heart. Love, mercy, and compassion for all persons enables us to accomplish far more than we could ever imagine.
At Trinity, we believe each individual has natural gifts and abilities, that when combined with the spiritual gifts of our Lord and used for the Kingdom of God, lives and communities are transformed in positive ways. Each individual has a purpose and calling. We desire to help you discover and fulfill yours!
Connect
At Trinity we desire to help all persons experience the love and grace of God through worship, fellowship, study, prayer, and service opportunities.
Let Trinity be your place to connect with God and others.
Holy Communion
Trinity UMC serves communion on the first Sunday of the month.
The Sacrament of Holy Communion is open to all who profess faith in Jesus Christ, regardless of church affiliation.
Communion nourishes and sustains us
on the journey.
Grow
Discipleship is a call to follow Christ and be transformed by His Word and Spirit. At Trinity we seek to encourage and nurture one another through the many ministries of the church.
Spiritual growth is a life-long journey of revelation, reflection, and response to the movement and call of God in one’s life. You are never too young or too old to learn more or experience God anew.
Holy Baptism
United Methodists baptize both adults and infants. The salvation and grace experienced at baptism is the work of our Lord and continues through one’s lifetime, therefore we do not “re-baptize individuals” but occasionally offer special worship services where we “remember our baptism”.
As children mature in faith and understanding of God’s grace and with any adult baptism, confession of sin and proclamation of faith and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord is needed.
The United Methodist Church recognizes two sacraments, baptism and communion. These two acts have a special place in the church because Jesus commanded them and participated in them. Baptism marks the beginning of our lifelong journey as disciples of Jesus Christ.
